This poet has for about the last ten years been unable to attend public functions. Even seated cross legged to assist spinal alignment, she must still twist and rock on public seating to relieve pain, sometimes forced to leave early, always a distraction.

So, she has become accustomed to worshipping every day instead ~ sometimes spending hours in prayer for the highest good of all.

Of course, to passersby she looks like she’s “just sitting there doing nothing.”

Light Through the Trees

I went to church this morning
At the river, in the fields
O what spiritual harvest
That sweet, sacred precinct yields!

I went to church this morning
Walking in the wood
This heart rejoiced with gratitude
This mind knew naught but good

These eyes awash in golden light
Streaming from above
This spirit awestruck, and this soul
Full to the brim with love

This poet is physically disabled.

Public housing being insufficient to her medical and creative needs, in order to continue working she is presently living in her minivan, publishing all of her works using one thumb on the touch screen of her smartphone and surviving at a fraction of her nation’s poverty level.

If her work has touched you, she would treasure any contribution you might be good enough to offer ~ http://www.UgiftABLE.com ● #72D-31S.

Please be aware that it takes several days for her to be notified of patronageThank you for caring.
