For the first hand account of a US military liaison to extraterrestrial life, please Google “Charles Hall and the Tall Whites.”
This very rational and conservative individual reports that more advanced civilizations are so appalled at the Terran hominid’s relationship to its offspring that they are known to open negotiations upon very other subjects with the statement that they are much more loving parents than we are.)

Visions of Nova Terra ~ Surrounded by Genius
The children of our wakened day
Encouraged freely be
Experiment most happily
With future work in present play
We often little people see
Accompanying on their way
Adults they hold in high regard
Cheerf’lly and respectfully
Assisting as they may
Without the thought of aught reward
Thus find the work which most agrees
With their nascent abilities
Happy to have skill to pay
In not-so-distant future day
Into the general accord
