When you choose to lie to me
Few and dim my options be

Focus energy upon
Calling you the carpet on

Or act as if I didn’t know,
Giving you permission so

Continue further in such wise
As generates more and more lies?

The first only obnoxious be
Impacting both negatively

The second makes me look and be
Full of gullibility

So let me know for future nonce —
