Lots of Fun

This is lots of fun ~ my biometric monitor ~
I can make her suffering as intimate as I prefer
Her tachycardic heartbeat echoes in that little van
I make it go crazy any time I wish it can

Look! Isn’t that sweet? All I’ve got to do is squeak
Or any other word I’ve taught her in our victim-speak
And that pulse elevates itself right off the chart!
One hundred times a day, I can give her a broken heart

I haven’t got a single thing of which I need beware
I’m free all day and all night as well to this aging poet scare
Don’t ever lose your money ~ for you should be aware
From that moment your nation will about you less than care

Much less ~ ’twill turn to actively supporting me
‘Twill let me in to meet its vulnerable family
But you they’ll pelt with garbage as you’re writing poetry
Thus “Justice for All” is manifest ~ Americans agree!
