Room to Grieve
Do not make the mistake, my dear
Of trying to be too strong too soon ~
Before grief has its sunset
It must have its high noon
I know that folk in general
Pathetic awkward be
Around the immeasurable
Sorrow of your tragedy
You’d like to reassure them
That it will be all right
While you’re still going through the worst
Of your despairing night
Let them worry ’bout themselves
And you take care of you
There is no way that they can know
What right now you are going through
You’ve naught you need to give them
No lack for which you need atone
You just let the people know
When you need to be alone
