(The poet, having already been awakened by sounds of hatred six feet from her head ~ just as usual ~ and dosed with unwanted amphetamines ~ just as usual ~ will now sit her pain ridden and deteriorating body up ~ just as usual ~ and meditate on how her nation not only tolerates these actions ~ for years ~ BUT ITS NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATIONS AID AND ABET THEM, AS WELL ~ WITHOUT ANY LEGAL REPERCUSSIONS.

We are patriotic men
Who make America great
By drinking beer and watching football
Early, long and late

We make sure for everybody
That our town is just ~
That’s unless you wear a skirt
And carry a bust

We leave each other well alone
In cowardice a-swimmin’
