Terra U
One thing about Terra Nature
It is an excellent teacher —
Someone is recalcitrant?
Figures out a way to reach her
High upon her horse she was
For some evanescent cause,
Right out of her head it went
When confronted with the loss
Of all that had been whole and good
So treasure now she better would
She sees to her what it had meant
Before she lost it in the flood
Before the rising wind blew down
All that she had built around
Initiative and precedent
Lying broken on the ground
Before the ground itself arose
To swallow even, even those
On gratitude would have been bent
Had she known then what she now knows
Ever since the fire destroy
Every material joy
She finds she doesn’t get as bent
Small misfortunes don’t annoy
Huddled with the others who
Also went disaster through
Remembering that we were sent
To do good one another to
