Healing Works
Has something very bad happened to you,
Something that you can never now forget?
Something which brings you sad each day into
Wondering how unto the next you’ll get?
There is a way, friend, to relieve the pain
A way to bring to others benefit
So you and they tranquility both gain
Needs only you commence to offer it
Yes, offer up your pain now good works with
See smiles created from your memories
Relieve the woes of others, simply sith
It is the way your own deep woe to ease
Reach out your fellows’ suffering unto
And let this do its healing work on you
