O seize the day
This very day
Do not let it go by so worthlessly
Looked back upon
See writ thereon
No act helped other on ascending way!

O gather in
O seek to win
In every swiftly disappearing hour
Say what you would
For highest good
Whilst you by heav’n yet granted are the pow’r!

Fleet minutes fly
Do not let by
A single one in which you might be glad
In later days
Good karma pays
The true awareness in this moment had

Then, when the years
With all their tears,
And laughter too, from future you descry
To self you’ll say
In peaceful way
You did not let your lifetime pass you by
