uncertain
of the provenance
of her strikingly ordered attire
they seated her with modest
prominence

she ordered
disappointingly
just wine and an appetizer
but in the end
tipped very well indeed

for the rest of the month
she will be sorry

but this one
moment of graciousness
is all hers
