Oh, my goodness! Not so much
Rests on the outcome of this bet
It’s about inconsequential
As results of betting get

You made some investment
And, craving now security,
On proverb’ial pins and needles
Are ’bout what its outcome be

Here’s the secret to survival
Might be hackneyed but it’s true:
“Some days,” my dear, “you get the bear,”
“Some days the bear gets you.”
