They had no address at all
If they had one it would have been a waste of ink I bet
For him and I sheltered under one roof
And dined on the same table

They carried useless messages at I used to say
For my young brain
Couldn’t figure out the wisdom
Strained on those papers

This old letter I hold here
Has something more than words
I see images on it
Grandpa’s mouth slowly fading in
And I hear him finishing the lecture
“The stars are coming down to you” , and now they came
